Team Roster

2022 - 2023 Season Information

Tournament Selection

Before the start of the season, each team will be given a tournament list. Teams will be asked to rank which events they'd like to attend. Once all the rankings are returned, teams will be placed into a draft where  a maximum of 4 tournaments will be selected for the team to compete in. Draft selections will be awarded based on how each team ranks each tournaments. Teams have the option to play in fewer than 4 tournaments. The draft is composed of multiple rounds and each team is awarded one tournament pick per round. The order in which teams get to select their tournaments is based on seniority.

Divisions

Teams will select which division they would like to compete in,  the divisions are as follows;

TIER I is considered equivalent to NARCH/TOHRS/SW – pro/gold

TIER II is considered equivalent to NARCH/TORHS/SW – silver/bronze

TIER III is considered equivalent to Bronze/Copper house leagues. Higher level players cannot play in T3. There is a 4 goal limit per player per game.

TIER IV is our lowest division. These players typically don’t attend many national tournaments. There is a 3 goal limit per player per game.

** If it is determined that a team is unfit for their division, they will be moved accordingly.

Tournament Format

Each individual tournament schedule is composed of round robin games on Saturday and a single elimination playoff on Sunday. Teams play two round robin games and are seeded into the single elimination playoff bracket based on their record during round robin.

For round-robin, divisions will be split into two pools, one pool will consist of teams who request early games on Saturday and the other pool will be for teams who request later games. Your first game will have a scheduled opponent.  After each pool's first set of games, the winners will play against one another in the second game and the losers will do the same. If a team has too many rematches as they approach the end of the season, both round-robin games will have scheduled opponents to insure variety in a teams schedule.

Once all the round-robin games have been played, Team in each pool will then be ranked based on their win/loss record. Any ties will be broken based the following statistics; 1) Most Wins, 2) Fewest Regulation Loses, 3) Head to Head, 4) Fewest Goals Against, 5) Most Goals For, 6) Season Standings.

 Each division will have a split bracket for elimination, each division will have two classifications, an 'A' classification and a 'B' classification. Once seeding is determined in round-robin, The top half of teams with better records will face off for the 'A' championship while the bottom half of teams will play for the 'B' championship. The two classifications will not play each other at all on Sunday and each division would have an 'A' and 'B' Champion.

Playing rules can be found at here

Season Format

Throughout the course of a team’s 4 tournament season schedule they earn points for each game they play in (3 points for a win, 2 points for an OT loss and 1 point for a regulation loss). The regular season is very fluid as it doesn’t contain a fixed number of games or opponents. Teams simply play in tournaments, earning points for each game. A team could face a new opponent at any time. At the end of the regular season teams are ranked by points and the top 12 teams in each division will advance to championships.
